Article 1: Those persons registered undertake to respect the rules of the campsite.

Article 2: Only those persons registered are authorised to stay in the accommodation that is allotted to them. The maximum to reside in the accommodation must not exceed 6 unless VLV has given written permission. Any infraction to this rule will give VLV the right to cancel the registration and to exclude from the campsite immediately the non authorised persons, the persons introduced into the site without authorisation being considered as breaking the law.

Article 3: VLV shall not be liable to the client for any loss, damage, injury, theft, fire, adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of VLV, nor accidents coming under the civil responsibility or public liability of those persons registered. VLV shall not be liable to the Client for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the mobile home, nor in respect of any equipment, plant, machinery or appliance in the mobile home. VLV shall not be liable to the client for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the Client if the mobile home shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period. In any such event, VLV shall within seven days of notification to the Client; refund to the client all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period. The Client is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy and to have full cover for the party's personal belongings, public liability, cancellation etc., since these things are not covered by VLV. Under no circumstances shall VLV's liability exceed the amount paid to VLV by the client for the rental period.

Article 4: Arrivals take place between 16.00 and 20.00 on the first day. Departures take place before 10.00 on the last day. VLV shall not be obliged to offer the accommodation before 16.00. The client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after 10.00. Any stay interrupted for whatever cause cannot be reimbursed. VLV reserves the right to cancel their commitments due to force majeur, to cancel any corresponding reservations and will automatically refund all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period.

Article 5: VLV reserves the right to adjust their prices in the case of a change of VAT and other taxes applicable to the prices. Also VLV cannot be held responsible for any eventual changes to the facilities of the campsite.

Article 6: A reservation request must be accompanied with a deposit of 25% of the total rent due. Following receipt of the booking form and deposit, VLV will send a confirmation letter. This is the formal acceptance of the booking. The balance of the rent is payable not less than 8 weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date, VLV reserves the right to give notice in writing that the reservation is cancelled and the cancellation fees below apply. Reservations made within 8 weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking. These reservations assume a "parahotelier" character i.e.: Hotel services are available, Breakfast, household linen, cleaning: please ask for price list. Any chargeable expenses arising during the rental period should be settled locally with VLV before departure.

Article 7: cancellation charges: any cancellation must be made by registered post to VLV. For any cancellation made more than 60 days before the date of arrival, £30 will be retained. Beyond this date, cancellation charges are calculated in percentage of the total price of the stay relating to the number of days left between the cancellation date and the start of the holiday. Between 60 and 31 days: 35% Between 30 and 15 days: 60% Between 14 days and 1 day 90% Day of start of the holiday 100%.

Article 8: changes to the reservation. Any change of the initial reservation is subject automatically to an extra administration fee of £15. Further more, where the change reduces the length of stay, the cancellation charges stated above will be charged on the part of the stay cancelled.

Article 9: Payment by credit card incurs a 1.8% charge and by cheque (other than french euros) incurs a £5 or 8 € charge.

Article 10: A damage and cleaning security deposit of £100 is required to be paid on arrival in case of damage to the mobile home and its contents. This sum does not limit the Client's liability to VLV. At the end of the stay, the mobile home has to be returned in a perfect and totally clean state. The deposit will be returned within 2 weeks after the end of the rental period, after final inventory. If the client leaves the mobile home in an unacceptable condition, VLV reserves the right to make retention from the security deposit to cover the additional cleaning costs or missing equipment. The Client also agrees not to act in any way, which would cause disturbance to those residing in neighbouring mobiles.

Article 11: Disputes and Jurisdiction. The Client shall report to VLV without delay any defects in the mobile home or breakdown in the equipment, machinery or appliances in the mobile. Arrangements for repair and/or replacement will be made as soon as possible. Any further complaint relating to the rental period should be made in writing to VLV and within 2 weeks of the departure date. VLV will try to resolve any problems arising as quickly as possible. This contract shall be governed by French law and shall be deemed to have been made in France. In the unlikely case of a dispute or any proceedings arising out of or in connection with his contract, only the courts of La Roche sur Yon, will be competent.
